~Food Truck Lovin'~

Ok so I'm assuming you have all had the pleasure of enjoying some yummy food from a fabulous food truck right?!
If not I can genuinely say that you are missing out.

One of my lovely brides Lindsay had a Molly Moon ice cream truck in lieu of a wedding cake and everyone LOVED it.

At NW Budget brides Wedding Expo we hired a curry food truck to park outside of our show, it was SO yummy!

I have another friend who has started a hot dog food truck business, and caters to Microsoft events and weddings.

Have you been to a wedding with a food tuck?

What do you think
A GREAT idea for a wedding right?!

Enjoy your day!

~Eugenia and Dong Heon~

What an adorable couple they were! We had so much fun at their wedding.
These love birds met each other at Harvard while attending Dental School.
They both now are Orthodontists.
SUCH a cute couple, and Eugenia is just too gorg!

Great photography by Amy Kiel Photography!!!

~Always be Thankful to Your Guests~

I think one "must" of planning a wedding is to
let your guests know you are grateful for them to share in your special day.
Some have traveled from afar to be there.
Some have spent a pretty penny or two on your gift.

These people are near and dear to your heart, make sure to let them know their presence is greatly appreciated!!!

You can do this on your program
On your menu
On your favors
etc.

Also don't forget to thank them at some point during the night.
These speeches by the bride and groom are always short and sweet but super adorable!

~A Great Wedding Quote~

For all of the high stress brides out there:

ALTHOUGH . . . my job is all about making my bride's wedding a perfect production
(as a Wedding Planner),
People stress too much over things and it can all get out of control.
Wedding stress is not worth ruining relationships (trust me it can!)
I mean really, what is the worst that can happen?

Who cares if your flowers are the wrong shade of blush pink . . .
really in the end all that matters is that you married your true love, your best friend.
You got to share this amazing day with all of your loved ones.

Yes have fun planning all of the details, etc.
BUT don't let your stress get out of hand.
Don't sweat the small stuff right?!

~Boutonnieres on Display~

On Display, On Display
(song by Melissa Gorga from RHONJ in my head right now! Hee hee)

Boutonnieres are adorable pieces of art and should be treated just as important as a floral bouquet.

Some of my favorite wedding photography shots are of these boutonnieres "on display"
Here are some recent fave shots:

I can't wait to help my brides/photographers capture these great pieces.
I've also seen where they label the boutonnieres with cute tags.

Love it!
